BIO International Convention pavilion

Centralized
The Centralized Pavilion works with one main contact and one BIO Exhibit Space Contract, and organizes all the participants as a service to their state or region.

Individualized
The Individualized Pavilion arrangement is a collection of companies and organizations who submit individual contracts.

View the 2006 list of domestic and international pavilions.

BIO recognizes a pavilion as a group of four or more 10'x10' booths containing two or more companies. Pavilions are totally integrated with individual exhibits in the Exhibit Hall.

Organizing a Pavilion

All pavilion requests require a Pavilion Fee. Pavilion Fees are in addition to applicable exhibit fees and include pertinent benefits. The charts below outline the fee requirements associated with each pavilion size and the related benefits.

Large pavilion organizers are required to work within the allotted space to develop a layout that is both attractive and beneficial for the companies within the pavilion. All pavilion designs must be in accordance with the regulations put forth by BIO, the Fire Marshall, and BCEC Authorities.

BIO International Convention pavilion

Pavilion assignments are based on size, sponsorship level and previous BIO International Convention pavilion participation. Pavilion space is limited; BIO reserves the right to restrict or deny any pavilion request(s) due to space limitations.

Pavilion Size Space Request Exhibit Space Equivalent Required Pavilion Fee
Small 400 – 1,900 sq. ft. 4-19 10'x10' booths $4000 (U.S.)
Large 2,000 Square Feet and above 20 or more 10'x10' booths $15,000 (U.S)

Pavilion Benefits

All organizers who pay the Pavilion Fee will be entitled to the following benefits:

  • 1 Complimentary Full Conference Registration
  • 20 Exhibit Hall passes to give to prospective clients
  • Use of private "Pavilion" Meeting Rooms. Each pavilion will have the opportunity to sign up for one two-hour block, and may reserve more time based on availability.
  • Use of "Pavilion Organizer" Lounge on the show floor
  • Enhanced exhibitor listing and pavilion icon for all participating companies in On-site Final Program
  • Online exhibitor listing with pavilion reference
  • Pavilion name included in Pavilion List promotions - in advance and on site
  • BIO Press Release to designated newspapers and media contacts in your state or country
  • Opportunity to host a pavilion exhibitor hospitality reception - Tuesday evening May 8, 2007
  • Access to attendee label program
  • 20% discount on BIO official list of promotional opportunities

First Time Pavilions

First-time pavilions will be limited to 1,000 square feet. First-time pavilion organizers must submit an Exhibit Contract to the BIO Exhibits Team. These pavilion requests will not receive preference over individual exhibit applications and will be considered based on the date the application is received. Pavilions that were not represented at BIO 2006 will be treated as a first-time pavilion regardless of any previous BIO International Convention participation.

Exhibiting Within a Pavilion

It is important for companies/organizations that are interested in participating in a regional pavilion to contact BIO and the Pavilion Organizers for specific details. As the host, Pavilion organizers may choose to deny a company's participation if it does not represent the overall theme or mission of the pavilion as outlined by the organizer. In this case, BIO will make every effort to accommodate the applicant in a space on the general floor.
