Boston Taxi

From Logan Airport
Taxis are available at Logan Airport terminals 24 hours a day with service to all of New England.

  • All areas within a 12-mile radius of downtown Boston are charged a metered rate. Beyond the 12-mile radius the charge is a flat rate.
  • All fares are based upon the occupancy of one to four passengers per taxi. Station wagons, accessible taxis for persons with disabilities and credit card taxis are available upon request at Logan Airport.
  • See a Massport Ground Transportation agent, located outside of each terminal on the arrival level, for further assistance. Station wagon and van taxicabs are entitled to an additional $5 fee if a passenger has excessive luggage, skis or boxes. Water Taxi Directions
From Logan Airport, take Massport’s free courtesy bus— the number 66 route— to the Logan dock. At the top of the Logan dock, look down toward the water for the boats marked with the orange and white checkerboard. Proceed to your right down the gangway to board the boat. Use the checkerboard call box at the Logan dock if a boat is not present.

To Logan Airport: Call City Water Taxi as you would a land taxi at +1.617.442.0392 or see the doorman/concierge at your hotel (landings at the Seaport Hotel, Marriott Long Wharf, and Residence Inn are all equipped with call boxes). The standard adult fare is $10 per passenger one way to/from Logan and $17 per passenger round trip. Children 12 and under ride free with paying adults. Tickets are sold on board the boat (major credit cards are accepted).

The service operates April 1-December 31, seven days per week. Water taxi boats are fully covered and heated in the winter. Hours of operation are 7:00 am-10:00 pm Monday-Saturday and 7:00 am-8:00 pm on Sunday.
