Press Conference Room Reservations
Room will be made available at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center in Boston for registered conference attendees who wish to hold press conferences. The room will be available Sunday, May 6- Wednesday, May 9, between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Press conferences will begin each hour on the hour and may last no longer than 45 minutes. Organizations may reserve only one 45-minute time slot.
Who may register:
Only registered BIO 2007 meeting attendees may reserve a press conference room. The BIO 2007 press conference room is not available to attendees who are registered only as exhibit booth personnel. Note also that all press conference participants must have (paid) convention badges to attend a press conference, even if they are coming to the convention only for the press conference. There are no exceptions to this rule.
Space is limited, and reservations are granted at the discretion of the BIO Communications Department. BIO reserves the right to decline any request. BIO will contact you concerning the status of your registration request starting in March.
What is provided?
BIO will provide seating for 40 people, a podium including a microphone and sound system, an LCD projector, and a projection screen. Please bring your own laptop for PowerPoint presentations.
BIO is not responsible for generating media attendance at your press conference and urges you not to apply for a press conference room unless you are confident of the newsworthiness of your event. Each organization approved for a press conference will be entirely responsible for promoting the event.

The press conference rooms will be located in Room 152 (On the main level, next to the press work room).
